Privacy Policy

Overview

6 Love ("the App", "we", "us") is a mobile domino game available on iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using 6 Love, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the game experience:

• Email address — used to create and authenticate your account. If you sign in with Google or Apple instead, that service confirms who you are and passes us your email address. We never see the password for those accounts.
• Display name / username — chosen by you during account setup, shown to other players.
• Game statistics — wins, losses, rounds played, XP, level, and in-game achievements. These are used to power your profile and leaderboards.
• Avatar customization — your chosen avatar appearance (stored as preference data, no images are uploaded).
• Friend connections — the players you add as friends, so your friends list follows you across devices. Players are found by their player tag. We never scan or upload the contacts on your phone.
• Purchase records — which item you bought and the order identifier the store gives us for it. We keep this so we can deliver what you paid for, restore it on a new device, and reverse it if the purchase is refunded.
• Advertising identifier — if you see ads, your device's advertising ID is used by Google AdMob to deliver them. See Advertising below.
• Device information — basic device and OS type, collected automatically by our infrastructure provider for security and stability purposes.

We do not collect your real name, phone number, precise location, or contacts. Payments are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We never receive or store your card or payment details.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and enable sign-in across devices.
• To display your stats, level, and avatar to yourself and other players.
• To operate real-time multiplayer features (matching players, syncing game state).
• To send transactional emails (e.g., account confirmation, password reset). We do not send marketing emails.
• To deliver, restore, and if necessary reverse the items you buy in the game.
• To show ads between rounds to players who have not bought Remove Ads.
• To detect abuse and maintain fair play.

Data Storage & Processors

Your data is stored and processed by Supabase (supabase.com), our backend provider. Supabase uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. Data is stored in US-based servers. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II compliant.

We also rely on the following third parties, each of which handles data under its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob — serves the ads described in the next section. See how Google uses data from sites and apps that use its services.
• Apple App Store and Google Play — process every payment and confirm each purchase back to us.
• Google and Apple sign-in — confirm your identity if you choose one of those sign-in buttons.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your email address, username, friends list, or game statistics with advertisers.

Advertising

6 Love is free to play, funded by a full-screen ad shown between rounds. Those ads are delivered by Google AdMob. To request and measure an ad, AdMob receives your device's advertising identifier along with technical details such as device model, operating system, the general region derived from your IP address, and whether you interacted with the ad. Google processes that information under its own policy, linked above. We never send AdMob your email address, username, or game statistics.

You control how personalized those ads are:

• EEA, UK, and Switzerland — the app shows Google's consent form before any ad loads, and your choice there decides whether ads are personalized.
• iOS — the app asks for permission to track before any ad loads. If you decline, 6 Love requests non-personalized ads only.
• Android — you can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings.

Buying Remove Ads turns ads off permanently on your account. After that the app makes no ad requests at all, so no advertising data is collected from your device.

Data Retention and Account Deletion

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active.

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. Sign in, open the Options tab, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account. The deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. It removes your email address, username, every character with its avatar settings, game statistics and achievements, your unspent Dubloons and the items you unlocked, and your friend connections and blocked players. The copies held on your device are erased in the same step.

If you would rather we do it, or you can no longer sign in, email support@6lovedominoes.com from the address on the account, or from any address if you tell us your player tag. We will confirm the request and then delete the account within 30 days.

Records of completed purchases are kept after deletion where a store or tax authority requires us to retain them. Those records hold the item, the date, and the store's order identifier. They hold no payment details.

Children's Privacy

6 Love is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the app is not designed or promoted for a child audience. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• Access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion of your account and associated data.
• Data portability (export of your data).

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords (via Supabase Auth), and row-level security policies on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using commercially reasonable means.

If you turn on Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint unlock, your device performs that check and tells the app only whether it succeeded. Your biometric data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Applicable Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. We comply with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
